School Shootings around the country! Many ask why ! Does the Bible have answers ?
First , I believe
there many causes for these problems.The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy chapter 3 : This know also that in the last days perilous
times shall come, For men(and women) shall be lovers of their own selves,covetous,boasters,proud,blasphemers,disobedient to
parents,unthankful,unholy,Without natural affections,trucebreakers,false accusers,incontinent,fierce,despisers of those that
are good,Traitors,heady,highminded,lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God,Having a form of godliness but denying the
power of it.-------
We look for answers but I'm afraid until folks start looking in the right places,We
won't find the answers.I believe we must look at issues like -----
Divorces,--How does this affect the children?--Teaching
in the homes--what is being taught?morals,ethics,respect for the rights of others?--Respect for others property--Don't touch
what don't belong to you?Love of God and others?--Is the Bible taught as a part of daily routine?--Is prayer a part of your
family daily routine? --Is Family closeness a part of of the teaching?--Is Unselfishness an example in your home? These are
only a few of the underlying factors related to these problems.
It's my belief that children have more money and
time to watch TV,Video games,computer games,buy and listen to music that is mind destructive and brainwashes young minds to
everything opposite of what makes a society a responsible society.
When people think of being a prostitute,a bank
robber,a pimp,a carjacker,a thief,a scam artist,a murder for hire,producer of pornography and a criminal of every sort --
as an honorable profession,that society is in deep trouble.
It's my belief that we must put God back in the homes,schools,churches,government
offices,and most of all --back in our hearts.We can do this and still keep separation of church and state --as to the power
,one over the other. It is possible!
Are We too Occupied with Self? Self desires? Self Accomplishments? -------------
Are you a teacher,policeman,policewoman,executive,politician,doctor,lawyer,(please put your occupation here) --Question
yourself ??? After a day on the job -(Or may be while on the job)--What is my first thought?-- Is it party time?Do your thoughts
for the rest of the day give weight to the above discussion about family ? Or are your thoughts on self indulgence and self
pleasures as to the lust of the flesh? Have we become confused about the difference between LOVE and LUST?
If you're
divorced you probably can't change or undo what is done ---but-- you can change your attitude about your RESPONSIBILITY
toward your children and giving them the real LOVE they need and deserve from you.They need the kind of attention that only
a loving parent can give them,and only you can do it.
